IPAC L0243

Placeholder copy. The laboratory holds a flexible scope under NP EN ISO/IEC 17025, reviewed each year by the Portuguese accreditation body and published in the certificate annex.

The annex lists every method by matrix, the standard it follows and the range it is accredited over. Download it for the version in force.

Sampling

Placeholder copy. Sampling is accredited separately from analysis. Where a client collects their own material the report states so, and the result is issued against the sample as received.

Water and wastewater

Placeholder copy. Physico-chemical parameters across drinking, surface, ground and waste water — among them pH, conductivity, COD, BOD, nitrogen and phosphorus series, and the regulated metals.

Waste and soil

Placeholder copy. Characterisation and leaching for waste destined for landfill, plus the soil parameters called for by the site remediation programmes the centre works on.

On request

Placeholder copy. Determinations outside the accredited scope are run against the same internal quality control and reported without the accreditation mark, which the report states plainly.

Ask the laboratory before sending material: some determinations need a preservation regime the courier has to be told about.
